In most levels, you might be able to anticipate the incoming jellies and place towers appropriately.
To me, this is like the difference between someone memorizing school test answers, vs someone understanding strategy. The only way to master this game is just to memorize the levels. One level is super easy the next is dumbfounding. I'm saying this game does things that don't make sense, like attack waves progressing inappropriately. That would normally be a good thing, but I'm not talking about mastering some skill, based on strategy. In playing Jelly Defense, I have to agree with some of the other reviewers: Cool game, but inexplicably difficult to beat. It's pretty much the only thing I get from the app store these days. This game has frustrated me to the point where I'm writing my first review ever. You can easily end up with more cash than you know what to do with! Anyways, for those looking for a challenge, get this, the more casual players or little kids, it’s gonna be a touch road. It starts at 10%, but gets you to 25-30%. It grants you a percent of your cash at the end of a wave, or when the last jelly dies of that wave. I recommend getting the piggy bank down as fast as possible and getting it to lv 2, it’s cash generation is insane if you can set your defenses up right. For the casual gamers however, this game will frustrate you. If you look for a fun td game to challenge you, go right ahead. For this appearing as just a simple kids td game about jellies, it is very advanced. Not even the people online could have a vid of it perfected. The hardest are the winter levels, the second one giving me the greatest challenge yet to beat.

The player needs to be able to quickly sell, place and upgrade towers when necessary, alongside making decisions on what towers you will research.
